Learning Euregio Scheldemond
With Lerende Euregio Scheldemond (LES), fifteen Flemish and Dutch organizations are working together to improve coordination and closer cooperation between companies and educational institutions, including through workplace learning in technical training and healthcare.

Inhoud
On both sides of the border between Flanders and the Netherlands, the labor market for technical and care professions is very tight. Workplace learning can offer a solution to better match supply and demand. Young people are better prepared for the labor market through workplace learning. On the other hand, companies have better access to technical profiles with competencies that match their needs.
With various activities we inspired schools, employers, students, governments and other interested parties to get started with workplace learning. TUA West coordinated a living lab in the graduate programs ‘Network Management’ and ‘Internet of Things’ in which Howest, Odisee and Hogeschool Rotterdam exchanged knowledge, experiences and material to arrive at best practices for workplace learning.
